All school supplies for third grade classroom activities are supplied by the school. We will work on keeping our desks organized and taking proper care of these supplies. Please keep personal supplies at home. Students need plenty of room in their desks for classroom materials.
If you would like to donate any supplies to our class, the following are always appreciated:
a box of tissues
a box of large, medium or snack size Ziploc-type bags
a roll of clear contact paper
pennies (for a science activity)
paper drinking cups (9 oz)
The following items would be great to have at home for homework purposes:
basic math fact flashcards (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
pencils with erasers
If your family does not have an analog clock (with a minute and hour hand) anywhere at home, please consider purchasing one in order to help reinforce the time-telling skills we work on at school. It's much easier for students to master these skills if they have some meaningful practice at home on a regular basis.
