I have been teaching art to elementary kids in the area for over fifteen years and have been in New London and Sutton for the past four. I earned a degree in visusal arts and art education from Hartwick College in upstate New York in 2005. After teaching for a few years, I earned my M.Ed in Arts Integration from Plymouth State University in 2009. I have also taught art classes over the summer at the Library Arts Center in Newport, NH.
I was a painting major in college and very much enjoy creating with acrylics and oil paints. I dable with sewing and love to make crafts at home with my two daughters.
In the art room, I enjoy teaching different ways to create, giving students opportunities to experiment with materials while tying in art history and elements of art. I encourage self-confidence and pride in ourselves and our work while being respectful and kind to all.
I live locally with my husband and two daughters. I also have a big, white, fluffy dog! I love to ski, swim, go camping and vacation with my family.
