Carrie Healey

Transition Coordinator

Advisor to the National Honor Society and the Grill Club

Hello, my name is Carrie Healey and I am the Transition Coordinator at Kearsarge Regional High School. I focus on helping special education students prepare for their life after high school.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns about your student:

About me: I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan but I now live in Hillsboro, New Hampshire with my husband, three dogs (Harley, Daisy, and Max), and one cat (Zoe). I am a stepmother to three adult children and a proud grandmother to five amazing grandchildren. I am a graduate of both Western Michigan University and Franklin Pierce University where I earned my Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education, Sociology, and Behavioral Psychology. I am currently in a Master's degree program through the University of Kansas for Special Education with a focus on Transition Planning.

Transition Services are provided through a partnership between the Kearsarge Regional School District and the New Hampshire Department of Education's, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (NHVR). VRNH works together with schools, students, families, and community organizations to provide services that promote successful transitions from school to work and into adult life for students with disabilities.
