Assessment

The first two months of school we will conduct various assessments in reading and math. This will give us a base-line of your child's academic needs. These assessments will allow us to provide support and enrichment for your child. We will sit down in November and have a parent/teacher conference to chat about your child's progress in 4th Grade. Assessments will be on-going all year to allow us to tailor your child's individual needs as they grow as a learner. Students will also be assessed using a 4 point scale:

1 - Below grade level standard

2 = Progressing toward grade level standard

3 = Meets grade level standard

4 = Exceeds grade level standard
