The Campus Ministry Program at Kearney Catholic exists to help students and staff encounter Jesus Christ, deepen their relationship with Him, and grow as His disciples. Throughout their time at Kearney Catholic, students are given many opportunities to grow in their Catholic faith through participation in Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, retreats, daily prayer, service opportunities, faith-based events, and more. Through these experiences, we hope students not only learn about their faith, but personally encounter Christ and come to know Him more deeply.
Our goal as a Campus Ministry Program is to help students lay a strong foundation for a lifelong relationship with Christ, a foundation they will continue to build upon and deepen long after they leave Kearney Catholic. We desire for every student to develop a deep and personal relationship with Jesus that influences every aspect of their lives: the way they live, love, serve others, and respond to God's call. Above all, we want our students to know at their core that they are fully known, seen, and unconditionally loved by God. Rooted in this identity, we hope to equip and encourage them to boldly live their Catholic faith and become the future saints of the new millennium.
Together with our teachers, families, priests, and the entire school community, we strive to create a culture where our Catholic faith is not simply part of our name, but something we joyfully live each day.

KCHS School Year Theme:
Our school theme this year is “You Are His Beloved.” Our hope is to help every student not only know, but truly believe and live from the truth that they are a beloved son or daughter of God. This identity is at the very heart of who we are. If we do not know whose we are, we cannot fully know who we are.
We want every student to know and believe in their heart that they are deeply and unconditionally loved by God, not because of what they accomplish, how others see them, or anything they could ever do, but simply because they are His. They are known, chosen, and loved by a God who created them and calls them His own. When we begin to live from this truth, it changes everything. Secured in the knowledge that we are His beloved, we are free to respond to His invitation to know Him, love Him, serve Him, and reflect His love to those around us. Knowing you are His Beloved is foundational to having a relationship with Our Lord.
School Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of this new day and for the opportunity to know, love, and serve You.
We praise You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on the Cross reveals Your unconditional love for us.
Help us to live today confidently in the truth that I am a beloved child of God.
That I am loved.
I am chosen.
I am a gift.
I am enough.
Help us to reflect this great love to others in all that we say and do. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Through leadership opportunities, authentic community, small groups, prayer, and service, students are empowered to discover and use their God-given gifts and talents to witness to the Gospel, invite their peers into a deeper encounter with Christ, and answer the call to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Together, students strive to be lights in our school, reflecting Christ's love and leading others to Him.
