Requests.mp4How To Make Elective Course Requests in the Genesis Parent Portal
1. Go to https://www.keansburg.k12.nj.us/genesisparentstudent and login with your username and password.
2. Click on the SCHEDULING tab located at the top of the screen.
3. Now Select Requests on the scheduling tab
4. On this screen you will select the courses that your child would like to request for next year. Click on Request a Course to view the course offerings in each category. Please review all course offerings before making a selection. If an apple appears in the Status column, that means the teacher has recommended you for that course level
5. To request a course, click on Request this Course. When selecting an Elective, also choose the priority for the course.
6. Verify your selection by pressing OK
7. After you select a course it will be listed on the requests screen. When you have completed select SUBMIT
8. When you are finished you may log out of the portal.
