Restorative Justice Project

The Restorative Justice in Education Pilot Program is administered by the New Jersey Department of Education is 100% funded by theRestorative Justice Education Fund” (P.L. 2019, c. 412 and the FY21 New Jersey State Appropriations Act). Funds for this program are provided by the New Jersey Property Tax Relief Fund.

Reducing racial disparities in school discipline


Goal II

Improving the socioemotional and behavioral responses of students through the use of more appropriate and less punitive interventions


Goal III

Reducing recidivism rates among students who violate the school district code of conduct
