Parents

PARENTAL COMPONENT

The parental component is very important in our program. One of the effective ways in which Project Adelante promotes parental involvement is through workshops held for the parents during each academy.

These workshops include:

• College Admissions

• Financial Aid

• Family

• School

• Behavioral factors

We may also provide English classes for the parents, who are English Language Learners, if needed.

Our parents have also created their own Parents' Committee for each of the three cities involved in the program and serve as spokespeople for the program.
