Residency Outcomes
At the end of the 14-week residency, the doctoral candidate will create a manuscript detailing the evidence informed educational based wellness program for adults with I/DD in preparation for dissemination.
At the end of the 14-week residency, the doctoral candidate will disseminate the residency project detailing the effects of the wellness program on the adult participants with I/DD to the program site.
At the end of the 14-week residency, the doctoral candidate will create a Google Site Portfolio for the residency project and supporting documents.
Program Outcomes
By the end of the 5-week program, 75% of the participants will increase their raw score on a modified version of the Nutrition and Activity Knowledge Scale by 1 point.
By the end of the 5-week program, 75% of the participants will increase their raw score on the short form Physical Activity Scale by 1 point.
By the end of the 5-week program, 75% of the participants’ perceived wellness will increase as indicated by a raw score on a modified Pediatric Positive Affect Scale by 1 point.
