She is thrilled to be able to help grow the theatrical community of LEHS. Ms. O'Connor has been participating in theater for over fifteen years. Her main skill set lies in directing, lighting, and set design. Some of her most recent productions include:

  • Eurydice by Sara Ruhl (Fall 2018)

  • Legally Blonde the Musical by Heather Hach (Spring 2018)

  • 21 Chump Street by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Fall 2017)

Ms. O'Connor also writes several grants for the classroom and arts programs of Lugoff Elgin High School, including the Distinguished Arts Program Grant. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Theater with a concentration on theater for youth. Prior to teaching, she worked for a technical theater company, Productions Unlimited, Inc. which installed theatrical systems across the east coast.

She is thrilled to help bring theatre to the LEHS community and to be able create with this unique student body.
