Debt: You cannot have debt to the school or to Jostens. This must be cleared before participating in graduation practice. This includes textbook and validation debt.
Senior Awards Practice and Night: Seniors are required to attend the senior awards practice on Tuesday, May 19 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. You should wear your graduation attire including your cap and gown to practice and the awards program. We will take our Senior Class picture at the awards night practice. For Senior Awards Night, please report to the auxilliary gym by 5:45 pm in graduation dress code.
Graduation Practice: Everyone must attend graduation practice on Thursday, May 21 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the North Central High School Stadium. Failure to attend will jeopardize your participation in graduation. You can wear comfortable clothes.
Graduation: Graduation is on Friday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. Report to the gymnasium by 6:45 p.m. The graduation ceremony is scheduled to be in the stadium. Tickets are not required for admission. Each Senior will be given 15 tickets and may request more through administration beginning in May. In case of rain, the graduation will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 9:30 am. Ten of your tickets are designated for use in case we have to use the gym due to rain on Saturday. No one under 5 years old is allowed into graduation.
Graduate Attire: All personal items/cell phones should be left in your car. The gymnasium will not be secure. All school/district issued cords, sashes and medals will be distributed at the end of graduation practice. Only school approved sashes, cords, medals, pins, etc. are permitted for the graduation ceremony. Your cap and gown cannot be altered in any way unless for size.
MEN: You must wear black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a white button down shirt (no polo/tuxedo shirts). Black tie/bowtie is optional.
WOMEN: If your dress/dress pants show anywhere outside of your graduation gown, it must be solid black. Shoes should be black (no flip flops).

Diplomas: During the graduation ceremony, students will only be given their green diploma cover. All diplomas will be distributed from the ticket booth after the graduation ceremony. Any inappropriate behavior during practice or the ceremony that is deemed inappropriate could result in your diploma being held back or restrictions to future NC events.
