Our pto needs your help!

The LEMS PTO is currently seeking a new board of officers. Below, you can find the description of each role. If you are interested in serving, please email Christina Ross.

Fundraising Coordinator

The primary function of the fundraising coordinator is to communicate with fundraising companies to determine if their offerings are a good fit for the school. Once a fundraiser is determined to fit, this information is communicated to Mr. Cameron and the PTO board for approval. The coordinator will run all aspects of the fundraiser. The coordinator will also be in charge of the Leopard card sales. Will be responsible for getting businesses for the card and the kickoff and developing a reward system for student participation. This does not have to be done solely by the coordinator. The coordinator has the leeway to get volunteers to help in their efforts. Any and all volunteers must be level 2 BIB certified.

Hospitality Coordinator

The primary function of the hospitality coordinator is to develop ideas to show staff little tokens of appreciation. Would like to enact a duty-free lunch at least once a month as funds allow. The coordinator has the authority to solicit donations from local businesses to aid in their efforts. Coordinates teacher appreciation week activities.

Secretary

The primary function of the secretary is to record the minutes of PTO meetings. Handles all social media communication as needed. Coordinates with Mrs. Baccomo to put up relevant announcements on the marquee.

Spirit Wear Chairperson

The primary function of the spirit wear chairperson is to keep stock of items to sell to students, staff, and parents. Partner with Lisa Matthews to sell items that will benefit the front office. Keeps an inventory of current and any additional supplies ordered. Sets up tables to sell spirit wear at sporting events. Looks for new items to sell and run this through the PTO board.

Vice President

The primary function of the Vice President is to assist the PTO president in meeting planning and assisting all other committees with their efforts. Will be responsible for planning Family fun nights as outlined by Mr. Cameron.
