Egypt's main religion is Islam, which is 90% of the country. The other 10% is Christianity. For the most part, Egypt is Islamic. Islamic people are monotheistic, meaning they only believe in one god. Together with the Jewish and Christian god, this god is the same in all three religions. The Islamic people believe that the meaning of life is to submit to the will of god to gain eternal paradise after death. On the other hand, if you don't submit to the will of god, then you get eternal hell. The whole religion is based on the prophet's( Muhammed's) teachings in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
