Dear Holliday Montessori Families,
Welcome Back to the 2025-2026 School Year! This week we welcomed back over 300 students into the building and what an amazing first week your children have experienced! Thank you for supporting your children and Holliday in navigating the first week of school! We made it! Our teachers and the Holliday team look forward to continuing this academic school year full of Montessori experiences and student-centered instruction. The children are already working beautifully in their classroom environments and building community.

ATTENDANCE PROTOCOLS
IF YOUR STUDENT IS GOING TO BE ABSENT PLEASE EMAIL MS. HARRISON AT MHARRISON@KCPUBLICSCHOOLS.ORG AND THE CLASSROOM TEACHER.
EVERY MINUTE COUNTS FOR ATTENDANCE! THE STANDARD FOR A SIGNATURE SCHOOL IS TO HAVE 95% ATTENDANCE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.
TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
PLEASE HAVE ALL TRANSPORTATION CHANGES CALLED IN NO LATER THAN 2PM

DISMISSAL IS AT 3:20PM
STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE PICKED UP AFTER 2:30PM, PER THE EXPECTATIONS STATED IN THE HOLLIDAY HANDBOOK
WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE A SEAMLESS AND SAFE TRANSITION AT DISMISSAL AND THEREFORE NO VISITORS WILL BE ADMITTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:30PM-3:30PM

Kansas City Public Schools TV provides 24/7 local programming throughout the Kansas City Metro area. Programming includes school events, board meetings, district shows, student shows, weekly athletic events and news programs.
Parent University
Parent University is designed to increase parental engagement and contribute to the academic and social-emotional success of our students. It will also support and empower parents to become leaders and advocates for their child's learning, while fostering positive school community relationships.
