【G10留輔講堂(一)】
學期開始的第一堂留輔大講堂,是以「夏校」為主題,由 Ariel 老師向 G10 同學更清楚地了解夏校的申請時程、費用與選校方向,並透過案例分享與文件準備說明,協助同學建立完整的申請概念。
同時,老師也說明了參與夏校如何在未來申請海外大學時展現學習動機與學術潛力,成為申請資料中的加分亮點。
The first IPDCC Seminar of the new semester focused on summer school programs, presented by Ms. Ariel.
During the session, all G10 students gained a clearer understanding of application timelines, costs, program selection, as well as real-life examples and required documents, helping them develop a more comprehensive view of the summer school application process.
【9、10月份大學博覽會】
留學輔導組近期舉辦了三場大學博覽會活動,分別為「美加大學博覽會」、「澳洲小型大學博覽會」及「英國大學博覽會」。有多所來自不同地區的海外大學進入林口康橋校園,以攤位形式提供同學面對面的諮詢與交流機會。
由學生大使社團及有意願的同學擔任志工(升學領航大使),並針對當天訪校的學校做重點介紹,提供參加活動的同學們更多提問的發想資訊。
透過這些博覽會,同學們能在活動中接觸到眾多大學的招生代表,深入了解各校的課程特色與申請方向,為未來的升學規劃獲得寶貴的資訊與啟發。
IPDCC recently hosted three college fairs — the U.S. & Canada College Fair, the Mini Australian University Expo, and the UK College Fair. Representatives from a variety of international universities visited the KCIS Linkou campus, offering students the opportunity to engage in one-on-one conversations and consultations at their booths.
Student Ambassadors, along with other students who volunteered to assist (IPDCC Student Navigators), served as event volunteers, introducing key highlights of the visiting universities and providing participating students with more ideas and inspiration for meaningful questions.
Through these fairs, students were able to meet multiple university representatives in one setting, gain deeper insights into each institution’s academic strengths and admission pathways, and receive valuable information to guide their future study plans.

除了大學博覽會之外,大學招生官說明講座同樣是留學輔導組活動中不可或缺的一環。目前已累計八所大學舉辦說明會,分別為華盛頓大學、墨爾本大學、雪梨大學、英屬哥倫比亞大學、麻省藥科與健康科學大學、聖荷西州立大學、倫敦藝術大學、以及紐約視覺藝術學院。我們甚至還迎來了波士頓大學的驚喜來訪,並與G12同學們進行了交流!
透過這些講座,同學們不僅能即時向招生代表提問、現場一對一作品集建議,還能藉由學校簡報深入了解各校的最新申請資訊、錄取分數參考與校園環境,進一步掌握升學方向與規劃重點。
In addition to college fairs, visits from college representatives are also an essential part of the IPDCC's activities.
So far, eight universities have officially visited KCIS Linkou, including the University of Washington, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, The University of British Columbia, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), University of the Arts London (UAL), San José State University (SJSU) and New York's School of Visual Arts (SVA). We've even had a surprise visit from Boston University with some of our G12s!
Through these sessions, students had the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives, ask questions in real time, and learn from their presentations about the latest application requirements, admission standards, and campus life. These experiences provided valuable insights for students as they prepare for their future studies abroad.
【G9留輔講堂(一)】
本學期第二場G9留輔講堂由Faye老師主講。講座中,Faye老師先向同學介紹了IPDCC團隊的運作,也讓大家了解未來升上G10後,將會有專屬的留輔老師陪伴規劃留學方向,並提醒同學屆時要主動與留輔老師安排面談。此外,因九年級是申請夏校的黃金時機,Faye老師也說明了夏校對大學申請的益處,並分享申請流程與注意事項,協助同學提前為自己的留學規劃做好準備。
The second G9 IPDCC Seminar of this semester was led by Ms. Faye. During the session, Ms. Faye introduced the structure and role of the IPDCC team, helping students understand that once they advance to G10, they will each have a dedicated college counselor to guide them in planning their study abroad pathways. She also reminded students to proactively schedule meetings with their counselors when the time comes.
As G9 is a key stage for summer program applications, Ms. Faye explained the benefits of attending summer schools for future university applications and outlined the application process and important reminders. The session aimed to help students prepare early and build a solid foundation for their study abroad plans.
【11月份大學招生官講座】
留學輔導組近期舉辦了五場大學招生官說明講座,邀請來自瑞士、日本、香港與歐美地區的國際知名學府蒞臨林口康橋與學生交流。參與學校包含格里昂飯店管理學院、雷赫士全球飯店管理大學、早稻田大學、西方學院、歐洲時尚藝術與設計學院,以及香港科技大學。
講座內容涵蓋飯店管理、文理教育、藝術設計與科技創新等領域,讓學生能從不同角度了解海外升學的多樣選擇。各校代表除了介紹課程特色與申請方向外,也分享了最新的國際教育趨勢與學生發展機會。
透過這些活動,同學們不僅能直接與招生代表互動、了解申請重點,還能更清楚地思考未來的學習方向與目標。
IPDCC recently hosted five university admission talks, featuring representatives from renowned institutions across Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, and various regions in Europe and North America. Participating universities included Glion Institute of Higher Education, Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, Waseda University, Occidental College, Istituto Marangoni, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
The sessions covered a wide range of topics — from hospitality management and liberal arts education to art and design and technological innovation — allowing students to explore diverse pathways for studying abroad. In addition to introducing their programs and application processes, university representatives also shared insights into global education trends and student development opportunities.
Through these events, students were able to engage directly with admissions officers, gain a deeper understanding of application strategies, and clarify their own academic interests and future study goals.

本學期第二場美加大學博覽會同樣邀請到多位美國與加拿大大學代表,現場氣氛熱絡,同學們熱切與大學代表交流,詢問課程內容、申請條件與校園生活。每位同學都並蒐集到多所大學的重要資訊。透過這場大學博覽會,同學對美加地區的教育制度與申請流程有了更具體的了解,也能比較不同學校的課程方向與特色,為後續的升學規劃提供實際參考。
The second U.S. and Canada College Fair of this semester once again invited multiple representatives from American and Canadian universities. The atmosphere was lively, with students enthusiastically engaging with university representatives to learn more about program offerings, admission requirements, and campus life. Many students collected valuable information from various institutions.
Through this fair, students gained a clearer understanding of the education systems and application procedures in the U.S. and Canada. They were also able to compare different universities’ academic focuses and distinctive programs, providing practical insights for their future study plans.
【留輔工作坊(一)】
本學期第一場留學輔導工作坊由G12的Danny Hung 主講,對G7、G8的學弟妹們分享自己參加加州大學柏克萊分校暑期課程的經驗。內容生動,學長以親身經歷說明課程與學習收穫,讓在場同學對暑期課程有具體的認識;且學弟妹們反應熱烈,認為學長的分享實用且啟發性高,是一次收穫豐富的學習交流。
The first IPDCC Workshop of this semester was led by G12 student Danny Hung, who shared his experience attending the University of California, Berkeley Summer Program with G7 and G8 students.
Danny’s presentation was lively and engaging. By drawing from his personal experience, he provided a clear picture of the program structure and his learning outcomes. The younger students responded enthusiastically, finding his sharing both practical and inspiring — making it a highly enriching and insightful learning exchange.

12 月份,留學輔導組持續為同學們帶來多元的國際升學資訊,我們分別邀請到美國主校區的代表,以及日本校區招生官前來,提供學生不同生活型態與學習環境的選擇、跨國校區轉學制度,以及學術支持資源。除此之外還有邀請到薩凡納藝術設計學院及西班牙聖保羅大學招生代表蒞臨林口康橋進行說明。
本月的講座內容涵蓋藝術設計、跨文化學習、美國與日本雙校區教育模式,以及歐洲大學的課程架構等主題。天普大學代表向學生介紹了美國主校區與日本分校的學習環境、跨國校區轉學制度,以及學術支持資源。SCAD的代表則分享了創意產業的學習路徑、學生作品集準備方向與未來職涯發展可能性。來自西班牙聖保羅大學的代表也帶來歐洲大學的教學特色、語言課程安排與多元實習機會。
透過這些國際院校的分享,同學們能更全面地探索不同國家與領域的升學選擇,也能更具體地理解各科系的學習方式與未來發展。講座現場互動熱絡,許多同學藉由提問與交流,進一步釐清適合自己的升學方向,為未來規劃奠定更扎實的基礎。
In December, IPDCC hosted a series of overseas university information sessions, featuring representatives from the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Admissions officers shared insights on different learning environments, dual campus study options, academic support, and career pathways.
Representatives from Temple University introduced their U.S. and Japan campuses, while Savannah College of Art and Design discussed creative studies, portfolio preparation, and career development. Universidad CEU San Pablo also presented European teaching styles, language programs, and internship opportunities.
Through these sessions, students gained a clearer understanding of international study options and were able to explore academic directions that align with their interests and future plans.
【G9留輔講堂(二)】
本學期第三場留輔大講堂針對G9同學,由Marcus老師主講,透過性向測驗結果與大學科系做連結,進而介紹AP選課概念。課程旨在協助同學更了解自身特質,並將個人興趣與未來大學主修做更清晰的連結。
Marcus老師帶領G9同學們逐步說明測驗結果如何反映個人的學習風格、行事模式以及可能適合的學術及職涯方向,同學們對於測驗結果感到有趣,也專心聆聽與自己相關的科系介紹。講座中也加入了AP科目介紹,幫助學生了解哪些科目能為不同主修建立基礎,並在大學申請中展現學術準備度。
透過本次大講堂,同學們不僅學習到如何運用性向測驗做自我探索,也對AP課程更概念。許多同學在大講堂中積極提問,探索自己的興趣方向與未來學習策略。

【留輔工作坊(二)】
本學期第二場留學輔導工作坊邀請到課後團隊,為同學們帶來主題為 「托福新制說明 & 雅思考試技巧」的專題講座。內容包括即將於2026全面切換的新制托福說明,也分享雅思取高分必備技巧,並了解兩大主流英檢的差異與備考方向。
除了托福新制的調整內容,講師也以實例分享新制托福的備考方式,讓同學們能以更有效率的方式準備考試。雅思除了聽、說、讀、寫作答策略,講師特別強調雅思口說與寫作評分的關鍵,並提供學生常見錯誤的示例,使同學能理解如何在短時間內提升表現。
本次工作坊內容豐富而實用,讓同學們對兩項英語檢定有更全面且深入的認識。現場同學積極參與、針對備考規劃與成績呈現等議題踴躍提問。透過本場講座,學生們能更清楚規畫個人英語檢定準備方向,為未來的升學之路做好準備。
New TOEFL Introduction & IELTS Test Strategies】
The second IPDCC Workshop this semester featured a session on the new TOEFL format and IELTS test strategies. Students learned about the upcoming TOEFL changes and effective preparation methods, as well as key listening, speaking, reading, and writing strategies for the IELTS, with a focus on speaking and writing assessment criteria.
Through practical examples and clear explanations, the workshop helped students better understand the differences between the two tests and plan their English proficiency preparation with greater confidence. Active student participation and thoughtful questions showed strong engagement and readiness for future academic planning.
【留輔工作坊(三)】
本月舉辦兩場校友分享,共邀請到三位來自不同大學與主修的校友回校交流,分別是華盛頓大學商業領域的Mina學姐、西北大學傳播與資訊領域的Violet學姐,以及加州大學聖地牙哥分校生命科學與健康相關領域的Jeff學長。三位校友從各自的學習經歷出發,與同學們分享在海外大學的修課規劃、學習節奏以及跨領域探索的實際經驗。
分享內容涵蓋商學、傳播、工程與生命科學等不同領域,校友們也說明自己在選擇主修與課程安排時的考量,以及如何因應大學學習方式與高中階段的差異。透過實際案例與親身經驗的說明,讓同學們更具體地理解不同科系的學習內容與未來發展方向。
活動中同學們與校友們針對選校選系、課業與時間管理等議題進行熱烈交流。
This month, two alumni sharing sessions were held, featuring three alumni from different universities and academic fields. The speakers included Mina from University of Washington with a business background, Violet from Northwestern University studying communication and information related fields, and Jeff from University of California San Diego in life science and health related studies.
The alumni shared their experiences in course planning, academic pace, and interdisciplinary exploration at overseas universities. They also discussed how they chose their majors, adjusted to university level learning, and managed the transition from high school to college study.
Through real examples and open discussion, students gained a clearer understanding of different academic fields and future pathways. The sessions encouraged active interaction, with students engaging in discussions on university selection, academic workload, and time management.
【校友返校日分享活動】
聖誕節前夕,留學輔導組首次舉辦校友返校分享活動,邀請 41 位畢業校友回到母校,與在校同學進行交流。分享內容主要聚焦於校友實際赴海外就讀後的學習與生活經驗,包含英、美、加、歐、澳、中東等國家與校園環境與課堂互動方式、生活適應歷程,以及文化差異帶來的挑戰與成長。活動在師長的引導下進行,協助在校學弟妹對未來將面對的生活有更具體的認識,思考自身對國際學習環境的適應與準備方向,也展現學校運用校友資源,持續支持同學進行未來發展探索的用心。
In the days leading up to Christmas, IPDCC hosted the 1st Alumni Homecoming Sharing Session, welcoming 41 alumni back to campus to connect with current students. The discussions focused on alumni experiences studying abroad, including academic life and classroom interaction in universities across the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East, as well as day-to-day life, cultural adjustment, and personal growth.
With guidance from faculty, students gained a clearer picture of what life at an overseas university may look like and began reflecting on their own readiness for international study. The event also highlighted the school’s ongoing commitment to supporting students’ future exploration by actively engaging alumni as a valuable learning resource.

第二場 G10 留輔大講堂由 Beth 老師主講,主題為「性格優勢評估」,協助同學認識自身的學習特質,作為後續課程規劃與升學思考的重要參考,並引導同學在規劃 AP 課程與未來主修時,能從自身出發,評估個人的學習節奏與習慣,以更具體的角度思考課程選擇,為後續課程安排與生涯探索建立清楚的思考方向。
The second G10 IPDCC Seminar was led by Ms. Beth and focused on Strengths Assessment. It helped students better understand their individual learning styles and strengths, which serve as a reference for future course planning and college decisions. Students were encouraged to take a student-centered approach when planning AP courses and potential majors, considering their own learning pace and study habits in order to make more informed academic choices and build a clear foundation for future course planning and career exploration.
【G11留輔講堂(一)】
本學期最後一場留輔講堂由 Katie 老師主講,主題為「入學評選解析:揭開錄取關鍵」,對象為 G11 學生,針對全面審查的大學錄取原則透過角色扮演,用更具象的方式對同學加以說明。同學也聚精會神與台上老師熱烈互動,並明確理解在某些國家,成績並非唯一申請要素,並釐清常見的升學迷思。期許同學在將至的寒假假期針對Personal Statment及Essay做構思外,並趁機加強托福、雅思、SAT等考試,及早開始為申請季做好準備。
The final IPDCC Seminar of the semester was led by Ms. Katie and designed for Grade 11 students. Titled “The Admission Formula: Decoding the Selection Process” the seminar explained holistic admissions practices through role-play, making the selection process more concrete and easier for students to understand.
Students were highly engaged throughout the lecture and actively interacted with the teachers on stage. They gained a clearer understanding that in many countries, academic performance is not the sole factor in university admissions, and several common misconceptions about the application process were addressed. As students prepare for the upcoming winter break, they are encouraged to begin brainstorming personal statements and essays, while also strengthening their preparation for standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, and the SAT, allowing them to get an early start on the upcoming application season.

【英國大學博覽會+加拿大布洛克大學】
三月的一開始,林口康橋校園內洋溢著濃厚的國際教育氛圍!中學國際處留學輔導組盛大舉辦英國大學博覽會,邀請到24所知名英國大學及加拿大布洛克大學的招生官們親臨校園,為學生帶來一場關於海外升學的精彩盛宴。
Starting March, the Linkou Kang Chiao campus was filled with a strong international education atmosphere! The IPDCC hosted a grand UK University Fair, inviting admissions officers from 24 renowned UK universities and Brock University from Canada to share valuable insights on admissions requirements.

本次邀請12所來自美國的大學招生代表親臨林口康橋,與同學們面對面交流。本次活動以攤位諮詢的方式進行,讓學生能依照自己的興趣,自由選擇學校並與招生官進行一對一的深入對談。

We welcomed representatives from 12 U.S. universities to KCIS Linkou campus for an engaging and interactive college fair. The event featured individual consultation booths, allowing students to freely explore and connect with admissions officers from schools they were interested in.
Students showed strong initiative and curiosity, asking meaningful questions about major selection, extracurricular planning, and application strategies. This event offered them a broader understanding of U.S. universities and clearer direction for their future college planning.

This workshop helped Grade 9 students understand university admission standards across different countries and how to build competitiveness starting early.
The session emphasized the importance of course selection, extracurricular engagement, and developing personal strengths. Students gained clearer insight on how to plan their academic paths. College counselors also shared practical resources and advice to help students maintain balance and move forward steadily.
【南加州大學招生官講座】
留學輔導組邀請到南加州大學招生代表,為對美國大學申請有興趣的同學們帶來一場深入且充滿啟發的講座。
講座內容涵蓋南加大的學術優勢、跨領域學習機會、校園資源以及最新申請趨勢,並針對「整體審查制度」進行詳細說明,讓同學們了解大學如何透過多元面向來評估申請者。
當天現場氣氛熱烈,同學們專注聆聽並踴躍提問,從學系選擇、課外活動布局到自傳撰寫,皆展現高度關注與積極參與。
透過這次講座,同學們不僅對南加大有更深入的認識,也更加明確了自身的申請策略與準備方向。
The college counseling team invited a representative from the University of Southern California to deliver an insightful and inspiring session for students interested in applying to U.S. universities.
Topics included USC’s academic strengths, interdisciplinary learning opportunities, campus resources, and the latest admissions trends. The representative also offered an in-depth explanation of USC’s holistic review process, helping students understand how various aspects of their applications are evaluated.
The session drew enthusiastic participation—students engaged actively with questions about choosing majors, organizing extracurriculars, and writing personal statements. Through this session, students gained a deeper understanding of what USC is about!

推薦人關係全攻略】
申請國外大學,是一場全方位的馬拉松。從撰寫申請Essay、維持GPA與標準化成績,到積極參與課外活動、準備面試,每一步都需要時間、策略與耐心。而其中有一個環節,既不能忽略、也無法自己完成——那就是推薦信。
為了幫助同學們掌握這一重要拼圖,在活動輔導老師Mr. Marcus的引導下,與Mr. Ken及Ms. Jane共同討論,不只講授推薦信的寫作流程與關鍵時機點,更強調了推薦信在申請資料中的六大價值。
三位老師現場與同學互動模擬不同「邀請老師幫忙寫推薦信」的場景與對話,接著帶領同學討論什麼與老師的良好互動,及常見NG行為容易讓老師退卻,幫助同學用推薦人的角度重新理解自己的行為與準備方式。
Applying to overseas universities is a comprehensive journey—from crafting personal essays, maintaining GPA and test scores, to managing extracurriculars and preparing for interviews. One critical piece, however, can’t be done alone: the letter of recommendation.
To assist students during this crucial step in the college application process, Mr. Marcus led a collaborative session with Mr. Ken and Ms. Jane. The workshop covered the process, timing, and value of recommendation letters, focusing on six key contributions they make in an application.
The speakers also facilitated live role-plays simulating conversations with potential recommenders, followed by group discussions on building positive relationships with teachers and avoiding common pitfalls. Students gained valuable perspectives by viewing the process from a recommender’s point of view, helping them better prepare for this essential part of the application.
【留學工作坊:美國、加拿大行前暨簽證指南】
留學輔導組於四月底舉辦多場行前工作坊,針對美國、加拿大、英國與澳洲的簽證申請流程與出國前準備重點進行說明,並依各地區特性補充實用的生活資訊與文化知識,協助同學做好赴海外就學的規劃。
其中,美國場特別邀請本校畢業校友關辰羽學姐分享她的留學經驗,從申請準備到實際生活面向,提供具體建議與親身心得,鼓勵學弟妹積極規劃未來,從容迎接留學生活的各種挑戰。
Near the end of April, IPDCC organized a series of pre-departure workshops covering visa application procedures and items to prepare for studying in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. These sessions also included practical information on local life and cultural insights tailored to each region, helping students plan effectively for their overseas studies.
In particular, for the U.S. session, we invited our alumna, Ms. Chen-Yu Kuan, to share her personal experience. She offered valuable insights and practical tips, encouraging students to plan proactively and face the challenges of studying abroad with confidence and resilience.

近期邀請到美國全美頂尖文理學院 Davidson College 招生代表到校,該校的特色是以嚴謹的學術訓練培養具全球視野與批判思維能力的學生、小班制教學,並以其強大的校友網絡聞名。本次以小型座談形式進行,氣氛輕鬆,讓同學們能夠更深入了解美國文理學院的教育特色,並對未來申請規劃有了更清晰的掌握與方向。
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a representative from Davidson College, one of the top liberal arts colleges in the United States. Known for its rigorous academic training, emphasis on global perspective and critical thinking, small class sizes, and strong alumni network, Davidson offers a distinctive liberal arts education.
The session was held in the format of a small group discussion, creating a relaxed atmosphere that allowed students to gain deeper insights into the unique qualities of U.S. liberal arts colleges. The event also helped students develop a clearer understanding and direction for their future application plans.

英國帝國理工學院(Imperial College London)招生代表暨校友 Mr. Jake Ganymede 本月再度蒞臨林口康橋,分別與學生家長及國際學校升學教師舉辦兩場說明會,分享學校特色、申請條件與最新招生資訊。

This month, Imperial College London’s admissions representative and alumnus, Mr. Jake Ganymede, returned to Kang Chiao Linkou to host two sessions—one for parents and another for university guidance counselors from various international and local schools. He shared key insights into the university’s strengths, application requirements, and the latest admissions updates.
During the parent session, an online Q&A platform was used to allow real-time questions, which enhanced the efficiency of interaction and helped bridge language barriers. The counselor session focused on application strategies and emerging trends, providing a valuable opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas amongst themselves in an engaging atmosphere.
The event was both informative and practical. The International Office looks forward to continuing close collaboration with parents and university representatives to support students in confidently pursuing their dream institutions.
【留學工作坊:逐步築夢(一)G12學長姊分享(G9入班)】
IPDCC透過入班與講座方式呈現。首先是邀請到五位G12學長姐:Toto、Yi、Emma、Stanley、與Amber走進G9教室,分享他們如何從九年級開始規劃的升學經驗,包括成績、課外活動等準備與時間規劃;後續邀請到畢業校友:就讀Rhode Island School of Design的Weipo與就讀NYU Abu Dhabi的Morris返校與同學們分享,自己在高中期間如何逐步探索自己的興趣與方向,也分享了目前在大學的學習與生活經驗。
IPDCC organized a series of in-class visits and talks. First, five G12 seniors—Toto, Yi, Emma, Stanley, and Amber—visited G9 classrooms to share how they planned for college as early as ninth grade, including their approaches to academics, extracurricular activities, and time management. Later, we invited two alumni—Weipo, currently studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, and Morris, studying at NYU Abu Dhabi—back to campus to speak with students. They shared how they gradually explored their interests and direction during high school, as well as their current university experiences in both academics and daily life.

IPDCC 特別邀請課後加強班團隊開設 TOEFL 與 IELTS 重點講座,精選題型特色與高效作答策略,幫助同學鎖定備考方向、提升準備成效。
IPDCC invited the after-school support team to give an overview of the TOEFL and IELTS exams. They will share common question types and effective test-taking strategies. The workshop aims to provide practical information and tips for students who are preparing for, or planning to take, these language proficiency tests, helping them approach their preparation with clearer direction.

為協助即將前往美國就讀大學的G12同學們做好行前準備,IPDCC 特別邀請Fulbright Taiwan的Jaynie到林口康橋,分享赴美前需要注意的重點事項,包括美國大學的校園文化、當地生活習慣,以及留學初期可能會遇到的情境與應對方式。
To help G12 students prepare for their upcoming studies in the United States, we invited Jaynie from Fulbright Taiwan to visit Kang Chiao Linkou Campus and share important information for students heading to the U.S. Her talk covered key topics such as American campus culture, local living habits, and common situations students may encounter during the early stages of studying abroad, along with practical tips on how to handle them.

此留學工作坊邀請兩位G12學長姊Nick與Yosi來分享申請特殊選才的準備過程與經驗,在這過程中所面對的挑戰與收穫,並幫助同學更了解殊選才的制度,讓同學可提早學管道選擇規劃。
The IPDCC Workshop invited G12 students, Nick and Yosi, to share their preparation process and experiences applying through the Special Admission Program in Taiwan. They spoke about the challenges they faced and the insights they gained throughout the journey. The session aimed to help students gain a clearer understanding of the special admission system and begin planning their future application pathways early on.

本學期最後一週的留學工作坊,邀請剛畢業的六位G12學長姊返校(Jeff、Neo、Nathan、Mira、Stanley、Yuki),以不同領域科系為主題,分享選校選系的思考、課外活動與作品集準備、推薦信與Essay撰寫技巧等。學長姊也鼓勵學弟妹勇敢探索興趣、發掘自我定位,並在申請過程中做出最適合自己的選擇。透過真實經驗的交流,參與同學對留學規劃有了更清晰、多元的認識,也獲得實用的準備建議。
The last IPDCC Workshop of the semester, we invited alumni members—Jeff, Neo, Nathan, Mira, Stanley, and Yuki—to return to campus and share their university application experiences and personal journeys. Their insights covered a wide range of topics, including how they selected schools and majors, prepared extracurricular activities and portfolios, and approached recommendation letters and essay writing. They also encouraged younger students to explore their interests, understand their own goals, and make choices that truly fit their needs. Through these authentic stories, participants gained a more diverse perspectives on study abroad planning, along with practical advice for their own application process.

【G9-G10入班-選課重要性說明】
本次入班說明針對G9、G10同學進行分享,幫助同學了解選課的重要性及AP課程的核心內容,並依據個人學習興趣與目標選擇適合的課程。同時,活動也向同學介紹了升學相關資源,並強調主動至IPDCC進行面談的必要性。特別提醒G10同學,即使尚未有明確規劃,也可以透過面談與升學輔導老師建立聯繫,在交流中釐清自己的想法,為未來的學習與申請提前做好準備。
This session is designed to support G9 and G10 students in understanding the importance of course selection and exploring the core content of AP courses.
It aims to guide students in selecting classes that align with their personal interests and academic goals.
The session also introduces resources to help students advance their education, highlighting the importance of scheduling appointments with their advisors for tailored guidance.
G10 students may be facing uncertainty regarding their academic direction. Through IPDCC advisor's clear course introduction, the tenth graders will continue to select courses based on the "best fit" concept for college readiness.
【G11留學輔導見面會活動】
G11開始,每位學生會被分配到三位升學輔導老師:活動輔導老師、學術輔導老師、及留學輔導老師。本次G11留學輔導見面會旨在為同學提供與升學輔導老師們面對面交流的機會,讓尚未與升學輔導老師們預約的同學,透過說明會了解留學規劃、申請流程步驟,並提點同學覺察問題或解答疑慮。G11是對於申請方向規劃重要的時間點,若同學能及早與升學老師們面談,對於後續的申請流程都是相當大的助益。
Starting in G11, each student is assigned three advisors: an activities advisor, an academic advisor, and a college advisor.
This event is designed to help students get acquainted with their advisors and establish these essential connections.
For those who have not yet scheduled a meeting, the event provides an opportunity to gain insight into study abroad planning, understand the application process, and address any concerns or uncertainties.
G11 is a pivotal year, and early consultations with advisors are strongly encouraged. Doing so can significantly enhance students' preparedness for applications and set them on a path to success.

A number of students have proactively engaged in college counseling sessions and have started preparing the necessary application materials.
During these sessions, college advisors offer personalized guidance tailored to each student’s unique needs, helping them refine their study abroad plans and achieve their goals.
The IPDCC will continue to monitor students’ progress, providing ongoing assistance and support to ensure every student is well-prepared for their study abroad applications and confidently ready to embark on their future journeys.

From October to mid-November, IPDCC organized activities such as a university fair and admissions sessions to help students explore academic pathways. These events offered opportunities to interact with university representatives, gain insights into application trends, and learn about various academic fields. In November, a new college counseling workshop was introduced for G7 and G8 students, offering an initial overview of the application process to help them understand early and lay a foundation for future academic planning.
【學生大使-越南國際學校參訪接待】
本學期,學生大使接待了來自越南國際學校的教職員訪團,負責帶領貴賓參觀林康校園,並介紹校園文化與特色。學生大使們精心規劃參觀路線、準備介紹稿,針對學校設施與課程進行詳細講解,並耐心回應貴賓的提問。透過此次接待活動,不僅讓越南國際學校的來賓更深入了解林康的教育理念,也展現了學生在跨文化交流與領導力方面的實力與自信。
This semester, the Student Ambassadors welcomed a delegation of faculty and staff from a Vietnamese international school, guiding them on a comprehensive tour of the Linkou campus and showcasing its vibrant culture and unique features.
The ambassadors thoughtfully planned the tour route, prepared presentation scripts, delivered detailed explanations about the school’s facilities and programs, and patiently addressed the guests’ questions.
This reception provided the visitors from the Vietnamese international school with valuable insights into Linkou’s educational philosophy and its distinctive approach to learning.
