To help Grade 6 students prepare for the next stage of their learning journey, our school organized a visit to Xiugang Campus. Guided by friendly senior students and teachers, the sixth graders explored the spacious campus, including the library, classrooms, and dorms. They were excited to use microscopes in the science lab to observe tiny objects and also baked delicious macarons in the kitchen. Many students were amazed by the large cafeteria offering various meal choices such as noodles, burgers, and rice.
Ms. Jenny, our school counselor, shared, “The purpose is to let the sixth graders get prepared for what is about to come in seventh grade.” The visit not only inspired excitement but also gave students confidence and curiosity for their upcoming junior-high adventures.

This year’s Halloween celebration at Kang Chiao was a great success, thanks to the creativity and teamwork of admin staff, teachers and students.
One highlight was a booth inspired by the movie K-pop Demon Hunter, where teachers dressed as movie characters to make the game more engaging. “As you know, I was Rumi,” said Mr. Molly. “It’s funny, but it makes the activity more entertaining.” Two games were also designed by Grade 3 students, selected from their Achieve Writing. “We picked the two best games so students feel more involved,” said Ms. Angela.
Ms. Emma shared, “We wanted students to enjoy Halloween and see everyone’s effort.” From staff to teachers and students, their collaboration made the event truly unforgettable.
