Welcome back to Kang Chiao Future Skills everyone and especially to our new grade one students. The first project for grade one this semester is Shapes in Our World. In this project, our grade one students will use 2D shapes to design a new 3D jungle gym for Kang Chiao. But what are 2D and 3D shapes? Very simply, 2D shapes are flat shapes and 3D shapes are fat shapes. Let’s look at an example of each kind:
