Were you excited about Christmas? As students in an international school, Kang Chiao wanted us to soak in the warm atmosphere of the Western world's biggest holiday—Christmas. At the start of each December, the school kicks off a series of fun events, including the ever-popular Win a Jar of Candy Canes, Christmas cookies, BINGO, and much more! This time, the school added a fantastic DIY reindeer chocolate activity for kids to enjoy. Students could make their own sweet drinks if they purchased tickets!
Moreover, to embrace the Christmas spirit of spreading warmth, the school also hosted an appreciation card event. Kids had the chance to write cards to their friends and teachers, making it the best way to share warmth, gratitude, and happiness with everyone. Thanks to the hardworking teachers, all the students at Kang Chiao got to bask in the joy of Christmas.

Every Christmas, students at KCIS are so excited about the Christmas carols, one of the most popular activities at Kang Chiao during December. It has become a tradition here. Our first and second graders practice with their teachers to ensure they sing and dance to the Christmas songs the best they can. However, this year, we have a group of cute little “grownup singers” joining our singing groups, aiming to sing one of the most adorable songs on earth, complete with their cute hats and bells! Mr.Molloy and the other teachers sang “Last Christmas', a classic song for Christmas. They practiced almost every day before stepping on stage. You might wonder how they managed to sing in front of everyone. Actually, after the day that Mr. Molloy sang, he said “I wasn’t afraid of how they thought or if they laughed. I just cared and paid attention to the things I was singing”.
