Our Mission:
Our Mission is to educate, foster creativity, and enrich the lives of youth and adults through training and participation in the theatre arts.
Our Purpose:
To provide education and experiences for children in the presentation, production, and promotion of the performing arts.
To promote self-expression while developing skills of cooperation and interaction within a group.
To foster the development of responsibility, commitment, self-confidence, and self-discipline.
To develop an appreciation for theatre in the community.
Curtain Call, Inc. - Theatre for Children
Curtain Call, Inc.-- Theatre for Children was created in the fall of 1987, as the children's wing of Kokomo Civic Theatre. In the spring of 2001, Curtain Call incorporated as its own nonprofit, theatre education entity. This organization welcomes all ages and focuses on training participants on the stage to backstage theatre skills such as lighting, sound, set design, stage management, props, set painting and make-up. Curtain Call also offers periodic workshops in auditioning, acting, make-up and creative dramatics.
