AUDITIONS: Saturday, August 3, 2024, 10AM-4PM

Curtain Call will be using designated audition time slots for our auditions for our fall musical Wizard of Oz.  Each time slot will be 15 minutes and will include up to 5 people in each audition slot. 

Auditions are open to children ages 6+, but please be advised for our fall show we attempt to focus on our middle school and high school cast members. 

AUDITIONS will be held at the Curtain Call Studio 2114 North Armstrong Street Kokomo, IN 46901

Our objective to using registered audition time slots is to expediate the audition process so parents/those auditioning don't have to wait long periods of time and we can reduce distractions during the audition process. Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time to get checked-in. 

IN PERSON AUDITIONS: 

Each person interested in a speaking role will need to prepare one of the audition monolgues provided or a monologue of your choice that is less than one-minute in length. 

EVERYONE (Speaking or ensemble) who is auditioning will be asked to prepare a vocal audition. Please come prepared with a vocal selection no longer than one minute. Please have music downloaded and not streamed from YouTube, Spotify, Internet, etc. You will need your own device to play your music -- playing from your phone is sufficient, or you may sing acapella. An accompanist will NOT be provided for this audition. You may use the songs provided or choose your own-- Happy Birthday is completely and utterly acceptable especially for a young performer new to theatre!

VIDEO AUDITIONS:

If you are unable to attend an in-person audition, video auditions are able to be submitted up to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 by emailing your video to info@kcctc.org. Your video audition should include: Your name, age, your prepared side/monologue, and your prepared vocal audition. Please provide an email address that will be used for communicating about casting in your audition email submisision. Any questions can be sent to info@kcctc.org.z

CALLBACK AUDITIONS will be Monday, August 5th 5-8:30 at the Curtain Call Studio if needed and will be by invitation only. 

After auditions have concluded, the directors will determine who is needed for callbacks. Singing songs from the show, cold readings from the script and possibly some dancing can be expected for callbacks. Callbacks will be by directors’ invitation only. A callback invite will be emailed using the email you register here-- so make sure to double check your email address before submitting. 

Performances will be held at Havens Auditorium October 11-12, 2024.
