Laxmibai Patil with her exemplary sacrifices made to turn the mission into a reality.
ABOUT THE INSTITUTION:
Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Engineering Satara established in 1983, has created its unique identity by way of imparting multiple opportunities to students for acquiring quality education; making all round development of their inner traits and making them better citizens. The institute at present offers four undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses.

Valedictory Function:
Prof. Vijay D. Vaidya born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He has obtained his B.Tech. Degree (Civil Enggg.) from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, Karnataka (presently known as NIT, Surathkal) in 1981. He worked in the field with M/s AFCONS, Mumbai at different sites in Karnataka, A.P., Goa, M.P. etc. and also worked with designer firm and did structural designing for different types of structures like Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Public buildings. He joined teaching field in 1985 as Lecturer in Civil Engineering Dept. in Govt. Polytechnic. Since then he worked in different capacities in Government of Maharashtra includes Lecturer in Civil Engineering, Head of Civil Engineering, Training & Placement Officer, Vice Principal & Principal. He has worked in administration in Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai as Assistant Director; worked as Deputy Secretary in Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, which deals with the Diploma Education in Maharashtra.
