K-BioX
"Be an Anteambulo: The person who serves others achieves the greatest reward."
From Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss -
"Strengthening research collaboration among Korean life scientists, fostering next-generation leadership in life sciences, and building a communication network beyond the constraints of time and space"
Anteambulo refers to a guide who voluntarily provides assistance for someone else's success.
K-BioX strives to become a true Anteambulo, uniting Korean life scientists from around the world to lead the future of life sciences.
By supporting exchanges among Korean life scientists and aspiring scientists worldwide, we contribute to the advancement of Korean life science research.
Beyond the public and private sectors, we aim to achieve a global impact through “strengthening research collaboration among Korean life scientists, fostering next-generation leadership in life sciences, and building a communication network beyond the constraints of time and space.”

Siyeon Rhee, the Chair of K-BioX, completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Applied Animal Science at Korea University before moving to the United States to further his studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Stanford University.
Currently pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiac developmental biology at Stanford, Dr. Lee founded K-BioX after recognizing the pressing need for organized collaboration in research.
He emphasizes that the goal is to establish "a collaborative research platform for Korean life scientists worldwide" and highlights the importance of "solving questions that cannot be answered alone by working together with other experts."
