I am a dedicated Saudi female researcher with a strong background in numerical analysis. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Mathematics from King Faisal University, where I graduated with honors. Supported by the prestigious King Abdullah Scholarship Program (KASP), I pursued my Master's in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Old Dominion University, USA, followed by a graduate certificate in modeling and simulation.
Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), supervised by Professor Daniele Boffi. I am honored to have received a full governmental scholarship from the Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu. I have achieved recognition on the dean's list of top students in the CEMSE Division at KAUST. Alongside my studies, I am actively involved as president of the SIAM Student Chapter at KAUST.
I am interested in researching the numerical approximation of partial differential equations, specifically
in relation to fluid dynamics and interface problems such as fluid-structure interactions. My expertise
lies in finite element methods and mixed finite elements.
Lecturer at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. (current)
PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences at King Abdullah University for Sience and Technology. (current)
Beyond my academic and research pursuits, I am deeply committed to mentoring and empowering female students to pursue careers in science and research. At KAUST, I actively engage in initiatives that cultivate talent in mathematics, AI, and deep learning. Additionally, I place significant emphasis on developing my leadership and entrepreneurial skills through specialized programs and certifications, particularly in Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Total Quality Management (TQM), and strategic planning.
