6th grade orchestra gives students the opportunity to build on fundamentals and technical work learned in Beginning Orchestra, and meets on Day 2 from 10:10-10:50.
Open to all students who play, or would like to begin playing, standard orchestral instruments. The orchestra performs a minimum of two concerts each school year, as well as other community functions as they occur. Students taking this music course are not required to take General Music.
Here students will continue to build off of the skills learned throughout the previous year, and will begin to perform more challenging repertoire. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a Solo & Ensemble Festival in the Spring.
