Welcome School Year 2020-21!
Join me as we usher in another school year. A year filled with lots of changes to our "usual normal". Know that I am with you in your thoughts of uncertainties, worries, and fears. But like everything in my life, I choose to forge ahead with a more positive mindset. Like what they say, “We are all in this together!”
My Message
Our class motto is “Know and Love Yourself”. I believe that when we are more self-aware of who we are, where we are, what we say, and what we do, that we can make life better. This self-awareness opens up a world of discovery. Self-love leads to loving everything and everyone around you.
Discovering your child’s interests, talents, skills, and even their limitations, will push your child and I to seek your child’s highest potential. To achieve this, I will strive to provide a safe learning environment for your child.

A Little About Me
My name is Prescilyn Amarillo. I grew up in the Philippines, earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, then ventured to education, where I got my Teacher Certification both in the Philippines and here in the state of Texas. I have taught the primary grades 1st-4th in my 17-year teaching career, with 13 years serving the community of Kaufman.
Three words that would describe me- a nurturer, a believer, and a learner. I believe that as I cherish and flourish in this one life I am given, that I should grab this chance to better myself and make my life a blessing to others. What better place to make a difference than in the schools, where I am constantly learning and growing!
