Stephanie Hardin is a dedicated music educator and choral director with a passion for fostering musical excellence and community through performance. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania (2009), and a Master of Music degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (2013).
Originally from Pennsylvania, Mrs. Hardin has been teaching and living in Texas since 2014. She currently serves as the choir director at Kaufman High School, a position she has held since 2023, and also serves as the music director for the school’s fall musical productions.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Mrs. Hardin has performed as an alto with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, continuing her active involvement in high-level choral music.
Mrs. Hardin brings a rich and diverse musical background to her teaching. During her collegiate years, she was deeply involved in a wide range of ensembles and performances, including concert choir, chamber singers, women’s choir, marching band, symphonic band, as well as musical theater and opera productions. She further expanded her vocal training through participation in Opera Viva, an opera program in Verona, Italy between her undergraduate and graduate studies. Her performance experience also includes musical theater productions beyond her academic career.
While in college, Mrs. Hardin was an active member of Kappa Delta sorority and served as president of Mu Phi Epsilon, the international professional music fraternity, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to the musical community.
Mrs. Hardin resides in Terrell, Texas with her husband, a pilot and flight instructor, along with their two children and two cats.
