Eyad was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1982. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdelaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2006. He had worked as a projects manager and supervisor on electrical works in airport projects at the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. While working, he obtained an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from KAU, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2009. In 2013, he decided to start a new challenge and his initial dream to be a university researcher. He was accepted as a teaching assistant at KAU; then, he received a scholarship to continue his Ph.D. in the USA. He begins a new position as an assistant professor in 2021.
Work Experience in International Airports Projects for seven years, including committee members for many projects, like electrical test supervision on Airport projects and prepare tender documents. Also, practice projects managements in several projects such as a Project Manager for Changing VASI to PAPI Project (9 million SAR), Vice Project Manager for Upgrading Medina Airport Project (170 million SAR), and Electrical Member for Najran Upgrading Airport Project (300 million SAR).
Research interests include biomedical instrumentation, microwave integrated circuit, neuro-engineering, behavioral brain analysis, and biomedical signal processing.
Courses of Primary Interest: Introductory biomedical engineering, Biomedical Instrumentation, Behavioral brain analysis, Biomedical signal processing, Tissue engineering, Advanced neuro-engineering topics .
Courses of Secondary Interest: Microwave Integrated circuit, Electrical Circuit Theory, Electromagnetic Fields, Communication Systems, General Calculus for non-science majors .
Pedagogical Interests: Statistical Analysis, Biosensor’s education research, Project Management, Airport Management .
