Dear Parents,
We aim to place every student interested in participating in Destination Imagination (DI) on a team. However, space may be limited based on the number of parent volunteers available to serve as team managers.
Each team will consist of 5-7 students. Children of team managers are guaranteed a spot on their parent’s team. Priority placement will be given to students who have previously participated in DI at Wilson and to those requested by team managers. Remaining spots will be filled based on DI challenge preferences, grade level, and availability.
Team meetings will be held at the team manager’s house. Students should arrange transportation to these meetings, which will occur 1-2 times per week. The schedule will be determined by the team manager.
If you are interested in volunteering as a Destination Imagination team manager, please fill out the form below. If you have spoken to other parents and wish to request specific students for your team, you may list them on the form. Please note that these students must have their applications submitted by their parents by the due date. Late applications will not be accepted, even if the student’s name is listed on the form.
The district will hold new team manager orientations on the following dates. Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory for first-time team managers.
