​​Paetow High School Counselors' Mission Statement

The mission of the PHS counseling department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students.

The counselors will:

• Advocate for our students' social, emotional and developmental needs.

• Offer support to our students through academic advising, individual and small group counseling.\

• Assist teachers in providing an exemplary learning environment for all students to enable them to live meaningful, successful lives in society and the workplace.

• Partner with parents and the community to ensure that parents have information which will help them with their students education; and that all students have the opportunities they need to be successful, productive members of society.

The Counseling Team at PHS understands that high school can be a very difficult time for both students and parents. We are offering new resources to help parents & students navigate high school and post-graduate endeavors.

• Our new Google Drive Folder houses downloadable scholarship applications and other useful resources to review at your convenience.
