Math and Science Team

MST Description and Scope:

The BHE MST (Math and Science Team) is a dynamic extracurricular academic program dedicated to training students to excel in the competitive Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) events. Under the leadership of sponsor Mrs. Dorris, the BHE Challenge Teacher, and with guidance from coaches who are SLHS students, the team actively participates in all four TMSCA competitions: Number Sense, Calculator, General Math, and Science. Through rigorous practice and teamwork, BHE MST fosters mathematical and scientific excellence, preparing students to succeed in challenging academic contests.
