Michele Dawkins

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! My name is Michele Dawkins and it is my pleasure to serve as Assistant Principal at Franz Elementary.

I began my career in education in Nashville, TN as a 6th grade language arts teacher. I moved to Katy in 2002 where I became a 5th grade language arts teacher at Mayde Creek Elementary. Shortly after in 2004, I became Assistant Principal at Mayde Creek Junior High and served their for 5 years. I have been an Assistant Principal at Franz Elementary for 5 years. I am entering my 15th year in education and have loved every minute of it!

I am a wife and mother of two boys. I enjoy sewing and spending time with my family outside of school.

This year I will be the Assistant Principal to grades 3-5. My educational beliefs are deep rooted in that all students can achieve the potential that we place and promote within them. I am extremely excited about this school year and serving Franz students, parents and community.
