Welcome to the team! Bookstagram tours are fun and as fans, we are able to get a one-of-a-kind experience with our favorite authors and find new authors.

Book tours are conducted closely with the author(s) and/or publisher(s). If your intentions in signing up are just to have an ARC, please do not sign up. Since the main purpose is to promote and support the book and the author, if you are chosen for a bookstagram tour stop and if for any reason you don't like the book, please let me know as soon as possible. Proper rearrangement will be accommodated for your assigned stop. This does not affect you doing other tours as we know not every book is for everyone. So, sign up for only the books that interest you. Your page must be public, not Private.

Depending on the author, books may be physical copies or e-copies. Due to Covid-19 many printers and book warehouses are not printing, the big 4 pubs are moving to e-copies and they are hinting at e-copies only going forward. DO NOT SHARE e-copies, sell, or otherwise use the books for personal or monetary gain. Giveaways of physical copies provided to you are ok as long as you tag the author and tour. E-copy giveaways, when offered will be sent by us.

Tours consist of a picture posted in your feed (required) and stories (optional, but appreciated) and may include: spoiler-free, thoughtful reviews, guest posts, excerpts, author interviews, and giveaways. Let me know if you want to do a giveaway, LIVE or a Q and A with the author. If you are only available for guest/author spotlight posts, let me know. Sometimes you may be doing other tours and are not able to read & review in time. Guest posts and book spotlight posts are awesome! The authors love to interact with you. Also, share the other posts from the tour, this helps with your engagement!

You will be given an itinerary and your content is required to post the day of your stop. It should be posted by 6 pm or during your best posting times as you can see in your insights on Instagram. Please maintain your post at a professional level. The author(s), publisher(s), and fans will be following the whole course of each tour. I will visit each stop as I collect information to be included in the main bookstagram tour post. (Failure to post your content without contacting us will result in removal from the tour and any consideration for future book tours.)

Book reviews can be posted to Goodreads, Bookbub, social media, and Amazon, (Amazon specifically - on or after the release date.) REVIEWS ARE ESSENTIAL. We will send review reminders via e-mail post tour.

I do book tours to help promote authors and their amazing work. Participants in the book tours will not be compensated. To comply with FTC regulations on social media you need to say where you got the ARC. As simple as "thank you to the author, @katerockbooktours and/or publisher for my copy-all thoughts are my own". Do NOT use the word FREE. or the term “In exchange for” this implies a contract and Amazon may delete your review and contact the These ground rules needed to be covered in order to make all book tours smooth, exciting, fun, and unique!
