Validity assessment criteria

After receiving the referral information, the Talent Acquisition team will verify the referral’s validity and update the status to Referrers in 5 working days.

⭐️ Eligibility for Referral bonus program

  • Referee’s contact information (correct email & phone number) & CV / Resume / Profile

  • Application history of the referees on Workable / Emails

  • Awareness & Agreement of the referee for the referral and the referrer

  • Based on the job description & requirements, as well as the expectations from the Hiring Team.

  • The bonus amount will be finalized based on the offered position & seniority level at the end.

How it works

Eligibility

Katalon’s Referral Bonus Program is applied to all employees (Intern, Part-time, Full-time, Contractor) and external referrers, EXCEPT for:

  • Members of Katalon Human Resource Department.

  • Katalon's Hiring Managers, Interviewers, or anyone gets involved in the recruitment process & hiring decision of the rewardable positions.

  • Katalon's Senior Leadership: Vice President, Senior Vice President, and C-level Members.

Payment terms

⭐️ External referrals

  • Payment of the first 50% of the referral bonus amount to the referrer when the referee is successfully onboarded.

  • Payment of the remaining 50% of the referral bonus amount to the referrer ONLY when the Referee is successfully onboarded, successfully passes the probation (or after 60 days with non-probation) and signs a Full-time Contract (from 12 months) with the Company.

  • The bonus will be paid on the 5th of the following month same as the 2nd payroll cycle and will be applied to Personal Income Taxes (10% for residents in Vietnam & 20% for foreigners & non-residents in Vietnam).

  • The bonus amount under USD 1,000 will be paid 100% to the referrer when the referee is successfully onboarded.


⭐️ Internal referrals

  • Payment of the first 50% of the referral bonus amount to the referrer when the referee is successfully onboarded.

  • Payment of the remaining 50% of the referral bonus amount to the referrer ONLY when the referee successfully passes his/her probation (or after 60 days with non-probation) and signs a Full-time Contract (from 12 months) with the Company.

  • The bonus will be paid on the 5th of the following month same as the 2nd payroll cycle and will be applied to progressive Personal Income Taxes.

  • The bonus amount under USD 1,000 will be paid 100% to the referrer when the referee is successfully onboarded.

Fine print

⭐️ The referrer cannot refer him / herself.

⭐️ The referee must be aware of and have consented to the referral.

⭐️ The referrer must provide the referee’s contact information, CV / Resume / Profile & clearly explain the reason why the referee is a good fit when submitting the referral form.

⭐️ If more than one person refers the same referee to a position and the referee is hired, the referral bonus will be awarded to the first referrer as determined by Katalon or the referee.

⭐️ Rehires are eligible if they have left the company for more than 1 year and have not been rehired by the company previously.

⭐️ A referral will remain valid for six months from the original referral date.

⭐️ All candidates referred will receive equal consideration without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, citizenship status, or any other consideration made unlawful by applicable federal, state, or local laws.

⭐️ Any disputes or interpretations of the program will be handled through the Human Resource Management Team.

⭐️ The referrer is not entitled to the referral bonus if:

  • The CV / Resume / Profile of the Referee was already sent to the company by the Referee him/herself or from other sources within 6 months.

  • The referee cancels the onboarding / doesn’t pass probation / leaves within 60 days of the non-probation labor contract / doesn’t sign a Labor Contract (from 12 months) with the company.

  • Claims received after the candidate is interviewed or joins will not be entertained.

How to track your referrals

The HR team will keep Referrer updated via email if (1) The submission is well received; (2) Your Referee does not pass CV Screening; (3) Your Referee is successfully recruited (Accept the offer)
