About KDIC
- KasrAlainy Drug Information Center “KDIC” is the first center providing a drug information service to a university hospital in Egypt.
- The KDIC was established in October 2009, and first started its services and received enquiries in March 2010.
The KDIC is a pharmacy based service and is a part of the department of pharmacy in Cairo university hospitals and works incollaboration of the Clinical Pharmacology department faculty of Medicine Cairo university to provide a useful service about drugs and drug related problems to assist the center’s users in optimizing health outcomes.
Who provides the service?
>> The center is staffed by pharmacists with particular skills in locating, assessing and interpreting information about drugs, and an advisory board of clinical pharmacology department
