About Karpagam Institute of Technology:
The Karpagam Charity trust was founded in the year 1989 by Dr. R.Vasantha Kumar, B.E.(Hons), D.Sc, Chairman and Managing Trustee, with the vision to serve and to lead society by imparting quality based education as the mission. Karpagam Institute of Technology was started in the year 2008, and it is an autonomous and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Department of CSE, ECE & IT are accredited by NBA. The institute is accredited with NAAC A++. It is incepted with the vision of providing cutting edge technical education and to create proficient engineers. The college marches towards creating engineers capable of attaining supremacy in every new technology and innovation, with matchless commitment and enthusiasm.
About ECE Department:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. Department have a team of highly talented, experienced and qualified faculty members. There has been a consistent development in all spheres including infrastructure, staff and the strength of the student. Department has tie-ups with several industries like Texas Instruments, E-Yantra powered by IIT Bombay etc. The Department of ECE believes in serious academic pursuit and encourages radical and creative thinking which paves the way for creativity and innovative ideas. The qualities inculcated into the students make them not only good engineers but also good human beings. The Department is recognized as Research Centre of Anna University Chennai for Ph.D. Programmes.
