Ruma Waru and Ms Donovan collected rubbish along the cycle way and the Karoro beach front during Sea Week 2024.
21 students from Ruma Waru, Karoro School, undertook the challenge to cycle from Kawhaka Intake to Karoro School, some 43kms! 2 students completed Kawhaka to Kapitea Reservoir, a challenging 15kms, and 19 students completed the epic 43 kms
