**Article 1 (Introduction and Purpose)**
This Privacy Policy is established by Seepop! in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. It aims to protect the personal information of users and ensure the swift handling of related concerns. This policy is effective from June 20, 2024.
**Article 2 (Purposes of Personal Information Processing)**
Seepop! processes personal information only for the purposes listed below and does not use the information for other purposes without additional consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- **Use of Advertising ID (AdID):**
Seepop! uses the Google Advertising ID (AdID) for analytics and advertising customization. This includes purposes such as frequency capping, conversion tracking, security, and fraud prevention. The AdID is managed by Google.
**Article 3 (Retention Period of Personal Information)**
Seepop! retains personal information only for the duration required by law or agreed upon with the user.
- **Membership Management:** Until withdrawal of membership.
- **Service Use:** Until service termination.
- **Advertising:** Seepop! does not retain any personal advertising data. Google retains and processes the AdID in accordance with its policies.
**Article 4 (Items of Personal Information Collected)**
Seepop! may process the following personal information:
- (Optional) User location data, notifications for service delivery
- Advertising ID (AdID) and IP address, collected and stored by Google only
**Article 5 (Provision to Third Parties)**
Seepop! does not provide personal information to any third parties except with user consent or when required by law.
**Article 6 (Outsourcing Personal Data Processing)**
- Task: Ad analysis and advertisement services
- Provider: Google (refer to Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Ads Terms)
**Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)**
Seepop! promptly deletes personal data once the purpose of collection is fulfilled or retention is no longer necessary.
- Method: Irreversible deletion of electronic records
**Article 8 (Rights of Users and Legal Representatives)**
Users have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.
Requests can be submitted via email. A representative may act on the user’s behalf with a legal authorization.
⚠️ **Note:** Rights related to Google’s AdID (e.g., deletion) must be exercised through device settings or Google, not Seepop.
**Article 9 (Security Measures)**
Seepop! implements the following measures to protect personal data:
- Administrative: Access control for authorized personnel
- Technical: Database access restrictions and security policies
**Article 10 (Cookies and Automatic Tools)**
Seepop! does not use cookies.
Google may collect cookies and AdID as per its own policy.
**Article 11 (Behavioral Data)**
Seepop! does not collect behavioral data for personalized advertising.
Google may collect such data. Refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.
