Spelling

Each week you will have 10 spelling words to practice, which will be checked on a Friday. 

Your spelling book must be at school on Monday and Fridays so you can check it off the Mahi Tracker for your weekly tasks. 

If you are not at kura on a Monday, your spelling words can be found below. These are updated every Monday. 

Spelling words used are from 'The Code' and 'Essential Spelling Words' lists from Liz Kane Literacy.  Spelling patterns are practised throughout the week in class, based on code testing completed at the start of each term.
