The Early Years - A Time of Curiosity and Discovery
The Early Years - A Time of Curiosity and Discovery
The early years of life are often marked by an endless sense of wonder. Every experience, from taking a first step to asking countless questions about the world, becomes an opportunity to learn and grow. During this period, curiosity acts as a powerful guide, encouraging exploration, creativity, and the development of new skills. Children discover their surroundings through observation, play, and interaction with others. Simple activities building with blocks, reading stories, exploring nature, or making new friends help shape their understanding of the world. Each new experience contributes to their emotional, social, and intellectual development. These formative years also lay the foundation for future learning.

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN
Theme - My Family, My World”
The learners enthusiastically participated in the “My Family, My World” activity. They observed and discussed different people who play important roles in their lives, identified various family members, and shared simple thoughts about their own homes. The activity encouraged communication, enhanced social awareness, and helped children understand the importance of relationships and belonging. The learners displayed great interest, confidence, and enthusiasm while interacting with their peers and teachers.
SENIOR KINDERGARTEN
Learners used clay to form three-letter words. They carefully shaped each letter and worked together to build simple CVC (Consonant vowel consonant) words. This activity strengthened letter recognition, phonics awareness, fine motor skills, and creativity. The learners were excited to see their words come to life through clay.
Learners explored the concepts of "far" and "near" through interactive activities. They observed different objects and identified which ones were near to the basket and which were far away. This hands-on experience helped develop spatial awareness, observation skills, and mathematical language.
We arranged four different rooms and encouraged learners to identify each room and place related items in the correct space. Learners discussed the purpose of each room and sorted household objects accordingly. This activity enhanced their understanding of everyday environments, vocabulary development, and classification skills.
For free play, learners were divided into five groups and given different resources to explore:
Shape stackers
Jigsaw puzzles
Four-piece puzzles
Letter puzzles
Construction and matching activities
Learners rotated through the activities, solving problems, building, matching, and collaborating with friends. The children showed enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork while developing their cognitive and fine motor skills.
