On or Under?
Concept-based learning helps learners for holistic development.
The teacher introduced the concept of "on and under" and how to compare the two terms. It is essential that the learners acquire a clear understanding of these ideas, as they aid in determining the position of objects and different creatures, and hence are also known as 'Positional Words'. Here our learners were engaged in an interactive activity wherein they chose the animal of their choice & they had to place the animal according to its habitat. The land animals were placed "on" the land focusing on saying the preposition 'on' & the animals in the water stayed "under" the water focusing on saying the preposition under. This made learning enjoyable and engaging.

Show & Tell
Show and tell helps learners to foster public speaking skills and helps them to feel comfortable while talking in front of a group of peers. It also helps learners to develop their speech with vocabulary. Show-and-tell activities provide opportunities for both fun and learning. Typical show-and-tell sessions let students share their experiences and introduce children to the different perceptions, environments, and interests of their fellow classmates. The K1 students participated in a show-and-tell about "HEROES" & "SEASONS". Learners were able to present themselves in a new light, which boosted their knowledge related to different seasons & fictional and real-world heroes and gave them the confidence to speak up in class.
ART
Doodling is fun!!!
Doodling is an important way for kids to relax, stay focused, grasp new concepts, retain information, think creative thoughts, improve memory, and achieve better health. Learners created Diwali-themed doodles on butter paper. They drew different types of Diyas, lanterns, firecrackers and Rangoli using black markers.
