Experiential learning
Learning is an important part of a child’s life. It allows them to explore new things, learn about themselves, and develop skills that they will use throughout their lives. Experiential learning for kids involves learning through direct experience and active participation rather than passive absorption of information from books or lectures. Experiential learning for kids is an engaging and effective educational approach that focuses on hands-on experiences to help children learn and develop essential skills. In this kind of learning, children always learn naturally and choose their pace and terms. There are many ways to go for experiential learning such as outdoor play, imaginative play, creative play, music and dance, art, and exploring nature and the environment. The best way for children to learn is through experience. There are many different ways of learning, and parents should seek out opportunities for their children to learn in different ways. By doing so, kids will have the opportunity to grow into well-rounded individuals.
All kids have different interests, and they need to have the opportunity to explore those interests. Experiential learning provides an excellent way for kids to do just that. Through hands-on activities, they can learn about what they’re interested better understand the world around them. Experiential learning provides an excellent opportunity for kids to learn how to problem-solve. Through trial and error, they can figure out how to overcome challenges and figure out the best way to do things. This is an essential skill that will serve them well in all areas of their lives. By providing opportunities for your children to learn through experience, you’re helping them develop the skills they need to be successful in life.

Introduction of sound /r/ with a rocket going up in space and integrating it with Chandrayan- 3 mission. For better reinforcement guided drawing of sound /r/ associated picture was done in their scrapbook. Learners used sketch pens to draw the picture. Sound /m/ was done helping them to know the phonic sound and its associated pictures. As a recapitulation sound /h/ related worksheet was done in their worksheet book where the learners had to do dots on the letter h and also on its associated picture (hat) using poster colors of their choice through fingerprinting activity. A recap of sounds /h/ and /r/ was done by allowing each learner to identify and trace them on the glass board.

Math
The teacher conducted a pre-assessment for numbers 1 to 9 with their values to check on their prior knowledge. For better understanding learners did a worksheet where they had to trace no 2 moving their hand in the correct direction, colouring 2 butterflies, and circling the numeral through identification. Oral counting helps pre-schoolers recognize numbers from 1 to 10. Associating the spoken word with the written numeral is a fundamental step in building numeracy skills. A recap of oral counting 1 – 10 was done using blocks.

Theme
From the day the kids are born they start to get to know and relate to the place where they live. Recapitulation of different types of houses and different rooms in the house was done for better understanding through charts, flashcards, and audio-visual. A few driving questions were asked to learners to make them aware of the importance of different rooms of the house along with their uses. After the recapitulation learners were asked to build a house with the help of the blocks on the constructive centre.
Literacy circle
Literacy circles allow students to become critical thinkers as they read, share thoughts, ask questions, and respond to reading selections. They are beneficial because they become engaged in reading on a deeper level because of their interactions with each other. It helps learners to increase their language, emotional, and cognitive skills. The teacher divided the learners into different groups and each group had 5 – 6 learners. Each learner was assigned a specific role like Creative -Connector, Illustrator, Question Seeker, Summarizer, and Word Wizard. The teacher narrated a story, of Time and patience by explaining each role to the learners, and later asked a few questions related to the story which helped them to perform accordingly.
Sports
Parachute games enable kids to engage in cooperative play. All the learners were happily engaged in being a part of the parachute activity which brought a lot of joy and happiness to their faces.

Teaching children letters through the sounds they make aims to make learning to read easier for children. Letters are what we use to spell words, and sounds are what we use to pronounce them when reading out loud. Learners were introduced to the sound “Hh” through stories and flashcards. Along with this writing of the lowercase letter “h” was done in notebooks. The teacher introduced the letter 'r' with its phonic sounds and with associated pictures. Learners were asked to do a worksheet and were instructed to colour the letter 'r' and the associated pictures with the letter. Learners were also taught a new rhyme “Community helpers" with actions.
Math
Writing numbers and letters both require visual perception and fine motor skills, which are still developing in young children. This week, our focus was on captivating numbers 11, 12, 13, and 14 and writing them in the notebook. Learners also learned about the unique characteristics of a rectangle shape that has four sides and four corners. Through exciting activities in which learners formed a rectangle in the scrapbook using different resources like Ice cream sticks, pipe cleaners, straws, and skewers we have developed a keen understanding of the rectangle’s unique features and how it contributes to the world around us. The introduction of the orange colour was done with the help of flashcards and concrete objects. The learners were given orange clay to make objects that are orange in colour which will help learners improve their hand-eye coordination
Theme
Teaching learners about community helpers is a fun way to integrate young learners into their environment. The teacher introduced the role of a firefighter by asking driving questions. Then the teacher showed flashcards and elaborated on the topic that firefighters are like real-life heroes who are always ready to help in case of a fire. They are a vital part of our community. Firefighters also help people who might get stuck in a building that's on fire. They use ladders to reach high places and rescue people and even pets. In the next session, the teacher introduced the topic of the International Festival "Halloween”. The teacher asked the learners to share their thoughts and views about this festival. Some learners said it's a festival of ghosts, Casper, zombies, spiders, carving pumpkins, witches, bats and so on. Then the teacher explained Halloween is all about having fun, dressing up, getting treats, and sharing smiles with friends and neighbours.

Literacy Circle
Sharing can change the world; the smallest act of caring has the potential to turn a life around: sharing is caring. Learners learned a story about sharing is caring which helped them to connect themselves with the situation. During the literacy circle session, the class was divided into groups which had different roles to play. Developing skills to work in groups and become confident to answer.
To initiate reading we first start off with a picture talk. The cover page of the book Fitzroy Readers assisted learners to form sentences and relate them to the picture. The cover page made learners excited to boost their imagination skills to create their own stories.

Vowel sounds in English can be pronounced as either short or long. The long vowel sound words were presented to the students. The teacher introduced the vowel 'o' (short sound and long sound) family words by showing charts. Post this the teacher also took a recapitulation of all vowel family words and the vowel ‘o’ family sounds with activities and with the help of clay modelling frame words with the sound 'o'. Additionally, our little children penned words in their notebooks. A review of the long vowel was conducted to improve reading and spelling. Fun and knowledge were had while learning.
Math
When learners count, they memorize the order of numbers. Writing of numbers from 1 to 50 was done in their notebooks. The concept of few and many was done with the help of a game. Learners were asked to place a few objects in the circle which mentioned few and many objects in the circle mentioned many.
Square and cube were introduced to the learners. They were explained about the 2D and 3D shapes, their sides, faces, edges etc. Number names from 11 to 20 were also taught during this week.
Our learners were introduced to skip counting by 2. In the following session, the students wrote backward counting 30 to 1 in their notebooks. Most of the learners were able to write. Post this our learners did count objects up to 50.

Indoor and outdoor games were introduced during this week. Learners were made aware of the different indoor and outdoor games. the introduction of the coach was also done. The teacher explained who is a coach and his importance in games. A story about the coach was introduced to the learners. It helped them to understand the importance of a coach.

Literacy Circle
This week during literacy circle our learners were divided into different groups and each child in the group was assigned different roles like imaginative illustrator, story summarizer, creative connector, question seeker, story summarizer etc. In the second session, after the groups had been established, each group read the story, and the children who had been assigned to different roles subsequently performed those roles as directed. This gave our students a tonne of pleasure while reading and discussing the story.
Event
“Rashtriya Khel Divas”- Learners will remember an important day or celebration day only if they are told about what the occasion signifies. So a celebration of events makes them aware of things in a more fun and happy way. Events bring the learners closer to each other’s cultural beliefs and traditions to develop respect and understanding of each other’s customs and traditions. During the session, the teacher explained the significance of “Rashtriya Khel Divas” to learners and arranged for games like Hopscotch Kho-Kho.
Teachers Day - Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 4th September. A special assembly was held to explain why Teacher’s Day is celebrated. Through a PowerPoint presentation learners were briefed on how teachers are important in our life and also the importance of celebrating Teacher’s Day.
Janmashtami- Janmashtami was celebrated on 6th September. Learners were dressed in Radha and Krishna attire. Dahi handi was celebrated learners enjoyed watching the Dahi handi.
