From birth to age 8, children experience rapid brain development, emotional growth, and learning that shape how they see themselves and the world. These formative years are a golden window of opportunity to nurture curiosity, build resilience, and lay the groundwork for future success in school and life.
Quality early childhood care, through loving families, trained educators, and enriching environments, can help children develop key skills like problem-solving, empathy, and communication. Children who are supported during these critical years are more likely to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
When we invest in early childhood, we invest in healthier communities, stronger economies, and a brighter, more equitable future for all.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration
We celebrated Raksha Bandhan at Kanakia Kids this year by blending tradition with environmental mindfulness under the theme "Strengthen the Bond with Nature." Our youngest students from the Play group, Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG came together to create colorful, eco-friendly rakhis, engaging in class-wise crafting sessions that radiated creativity and joy. These handmade rakhis found new purpose when tied not only on boys’ wrists in the cherished sibling tradition but also on the branches of trees on our campus, symbolizing a heartfelt promise to nurture and protect nature the embodiment of the “Vriksha Raksha Bandhan” spirit. Students gathered around the trees, offering simple worship and prayers , a touching acknowledgment of the silent guardians that sustain us and a pledge of our care in return. The celebration captured connection, compassion, and creativity, leaving our community with moments that truly resonate beyond the festival itself.

Janmashtami Celebration
On the joyous occasion of Janmashtami, Kanakia Kids in Mahuva came alive in a vibrant celebration. Educators meticulously crafted a dazzling backdrop and charming props that transformed the space into a festive wonderland. Clad in matching traditional attire, the teachers brought the timeless tale of Lord Krishna to life through a delightful skit that captured the imagination of all.
The excitement soared with our little Krishnas and Radhas taking center stage in a playful Matki Phod ceremony, embodying the mischievous spirit of Bal Gopal with enthusiasm. The celebrations moved into another rhythm as children stepped into the beats of Garba, dancing with joyful energy and cultural pride.
A beautifully decorated jula (swing) became a sweet focal point, where the young Kanhas swayed gently, their laughter echoing the essence of the festival. A particularly touching moment was when our principal lovingly lifted the swing—creating a charming “hichka” for Kaniya that was both heartwarming and memorable.
From the heartfelt storytelling to the energetic performances and endearing moments, the entire event was a beautiful blend of devotion, learning, and cultural festivity. It was a celebration that will surely remain in the memories of all who took part.
Independence Day Celebration

Guided by enthusiastic teachers, each class took part in specially planned craft activities , from painting and paper cutting to tricolor-themed art—where students expressed their patriotism through hands-on projects. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, teamwork, and pride as children collaborated on colorful creations. It was heartwarming to witness their excitement and sense of belonging.

Our little artists had a blast creating their own snail crafts using simple sheets and colorful pom-poms! Each child got creative—gluing fluffy pom-poms together to form the snail’s shell—and decorating the body with bright paints and markers. It was a wonderful afternoon of imagination, coordination, and pure joy. These snails came alive with each child’s unique touch—so adorable!
NURSERY
Theme - Home Sweet Home: Thumbprint & Candy Stick Family Portrait
Our creative young students recently brought their families to life in the most adorable way! Using a sheet, they first built a colorful house shape with candy sticks—gluing them into sturdy walls and roofs. Inside the house, each child used thumbprint art to represent their family members, then added facial details—making each print a tiny portrait full of personality.
English - Little Hands, Big Milestone! Drawing the Letter “A”
Our nursery stars enjoyed a delightful moment as they practiced writing the letter A in their journal books using crayons. Watching them grip their crayons and trace each line with focused excitement was simply heartwarming.

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN
Our Appreciation Books: Celebrating Every Good Deed with a Sticker
Our incredible teacher has introduced something special in class, a personalized Appreciation Book for each student! Whenever a child does something kind, helpful, or thoughtful, they earn a bright, cheerful sticker placed in their book. It’s become a heartwarming way to recognize good behavior and make children feel proud of their efforts.
We are already seeing small moments become big smiles, kids excitedly flipping through their books to admire their growing collection, motivated to continue making positive choices.
Art & craft - Crafting Bonds: Friendship Belts
We're overjoyed to share the highlights of the Arts & Crafts lecture, where our talented students crafted beautiful friendship belts straight from their art journals! Using colorful strips from their art-and-craft books, they decorated these wearable tokens with creativity and care. Each belt became a canvas for self-expression, as students added different smiley stickers and personal touches that symbolize friendship and unity.
STEM in Action — “Dancing Popcorn” Experiment
Our little scientists carried out an engaging STEM activity where popcorn kernels appeared to dance in front of their eyes—an experiment that sparked curiosity and wonder throughout the class. The students watched with excitement as moments of reaction transformed into movement, creating a fun and memorable experience. This lively experiment brought smiles, questions, and genuine enthusiasm—making learning feel magical and playful
SENIOR KINDERGARTEN
Literacy - Literacy Through Craft & Colour
Our young literacy learners had a fun and creative day bringing words to life through art.
As part of their phonics and vocabulary learning, students explored three letter words using the vowels A, E, and I – each choosing three words per vowel. To reinforce their learning, they crafted a beautiful "Word Tree", proudly displaying their vocabulary on each leaf.
In addition, the class brought out their artistic side with a vibrant Primary Colour Sun , a colourful craft made using bold stripes of red, blue, and yellow. This hands-on activity helped reinforce colour recognition and creativity! Learning is always brighter when we combine literacy and art
