GRADE - I
FRENCH
Our learners recently took on an exciting French project where they combined creativity with language learning.
The task was to draw one fruit and one vegetable and then embellish their artwork with pieces of colorful origami paper.
We are thrilled with the students’ imaginative efforts and look forward to more projects that bring together fun, learning,
and cultural exploration!
GRADE - II
FRENCH
Our learners had a fantastic time with their recent French project on "Months of the Year."
They wrote the months of the year in French around the edge of a paper plate, forming a fun and colorful clock.
The twist? Each student pointed an arrow toward the month they were born, turning the plate into a visual celebration of birthdays
throughout the year. We look forward to more exciting learning adventures in the future!
GRADE - IV
FRENCH
We are excited to share the fantastic work our learners have been doing as part of their French project on
"Ma Maison" (My House).
For this project, students were tasked with drawing five pieces of furniture or household appliances and labeling them in French.
This activity allowed them to explore the vocabulary related to everyday items in a fun and creative way.
We look forward to seeing how their French language skills continue to grow.
GRADE - V
MATH
Grade V learners embarked on an exciting survey project, exploring various topics and collecting data from their peers
across different grades. To visualize their findings, they creatively displayed their data in the form of graphs, including
bar graphs, pie charts, and more.
This engaging activity served as a hands-on review of various graph types, allowing students to reinforce their
understanding of data representation in a fun and interactive way.
GRADE - VI
SCIENCE
Grade VI students explored the relationship between power and current in everyday electrical appliances.
They checked the wattage of various household devices and brought their findings to class. Using the power formula,
they calculated the current drawn by each appliance. This hands-on activity helped them understand electrical concepts practically.
It was an engaging way to connect science with real-life applications!
ART and DESIGN
"Launch Buzz: Where Creativity Meets Entrepreneurship!"
In the Launch Buzz exhibition, Grade VII learners applied their learning by designing brand identities and packaging, while Grade IX Business Studies learners developed business strategies to market them. This cross-disciplinary approach bridged design with entrepreneurship, preparing students for real-world creative industries.
This exhibition not only enhances artistic and technical skills but also develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation abilities, making it an essential part of modern Art & Design education!
Women's Day
To encourage learners to appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of women in society, Kanakia International School has celebrated
Women's day and conducted card-making activity. On the occasion of Women's Day, our learners creatively expressed
their gratitude and respect by making handmade greeting cards.
This activity fosters empathy, creativity, and awareness of gender equality.
Graduation Day
At Kanakia International School we conducted the Graduation Ceremony of Grade 5, a truly special occasion—one filled with joy, reflection,
and a deep sense of pride. It represents the culmination of years of learning, personal growth, and perseverance, and stands
as a tribute to the hard work and resilience of our learners.
During the ceremony, we celebrated the unique accomplishments of each student, recognizing their academic successes, personal development,
and meaningful contributions to our school community. It was also a time to look back on cherished memories,
valuable lessons, and the lasting friendships formed throughout the year.

Awareness Session
““Awareness precedes change” -Robin Sharma
The focus of this month’s awareness session was to educate learners on recognizing appropriate and inappropriate physical contact, emphasizing personal boundaries, consent, and vigilance. It empowered them to speak up when they feel uncomfortable and reinforced the importance of respect and safety. The session also highlighted the importance of speaking to a trusted adult and encouraged learners to have at least three reliable adults they can turn to.
The Multiple Intelligence session introduced Howard Gardner's theory, helping learners understand different types of intelligence. It encouraged them to recognize their unique strengths and embrace diverse learning styles, fostering self-awareness and a growth mindset. The session was interactive, allowing learners to reflect on their abilities and appreciate the variety of ways people learn.
BOOKSTAGRAM
“Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe is a great book for learners because it teaches valuable life lessons.
A book review is important because it helps learners understand the main ideas of a book, evaluate its strengths and weaknesses. For learners, reading and writing book reviews can be very beneficial in many ways.
Here we have our learner "Nysaa Shadrack" IV B with her review.
Helps in Decision-Making – A review gives a summary and opinion about a book, helping readers decide if it matches their interests.
Encourages Critical Thinking – Writing a review requires analyzing the book’s themes, characters, and messages, improving critical thinking skills.
Enhances Writing Skills – Learners improve their ability to organize thoughts, express opinions clearly, and use proper grammar and vocabulary.
Promotes Discussion – Book reviews allow learners to share ideas, debate different viewpoints, and engage in meaningful discussions.
Develops Analytical Skills – By reviewing a book, learners learn to compare different books, recognize writing styles, and understand literary techniques.
