Lakar Lilin

Lakar lilin (Wax drawn) is an exhibition to showcase master batik artists in Singapore namely, Sarkasi Said, Sujak Rahman, Sadali Musbah, Tumadi Patri and Kamal Dollah. These master artists have devoted years to the art and craft of batik.

Batik is the medium of choice for these masters that convey contemporary art expressions.

Their practice reflects our diversity of practice in a uniquely Singaporean art eco-system and enlarged social commons.
