Singapore and Hong Kong have long been competitive economies and city states. Hong Kong is known for its commercial streets packed with neon signs, honking cars and crowds of people, like this one in Tsim Sha Tsui. However, seeing this Asian art and financial hub plagued by unrest and experiencing its worst crisis under its “one country, two systems” rule introduced in 1997 when it was returned by the British to China, will the city ever go back to the vibrant yet peaceful place it once was?
