*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: 8TH GRADE PROMOTION*
Aloha Parents/Guardians,
This year, we are fortunate to have our 8th Grade Banquet for a full day at Ala Moana Hotel on Wednesday, May 29th. To make full use of the beautiful venue, we will be having our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony there as well. This ceremony will be for students and KMS Faculty/Staff only. More information on a virtual live stream of the ceremony portion will be released at a later date. As stated on the Behavior Contract, students projected to fail any core class for the year (below 60%) by May 17th will not be recognized during the Promotion Ceremony. Mahalo for your understanding.

School Quality Survey
Parents, please complete the SQS that your child brought home in a big brown envelope by February 21, 2023.
1. Complete ONLY the English version of the survey, and return it back to your child's advisory teacher.
2. If you receive the survey in two different languages, complete ONLY the English version, and use the other language as needed to translate the English version
3. If you complete the online version, return the white envelope to your teacher, write 'COMPLETED THE ONLINE VERSION' on the envelope.

What is a School Nurse? School nurses are Registered Nurses (RN) specializing in serving students and the school community. School RNs manage and treat health conditions at school and are a health resource to families and teachers. See flyer for more info.
