We aim to make this a wonderful and memorable event that offers our present students support and leaves a lasting legacy at the College to mark the centenary. The event team welcomes indications of interest to support or for sponsorship from alumni-led organisations & local businesses.
There are several ways organisations and businesses can support our event, from sponsoring a particular aspect of one of the events over the two day celebration, to sponsoring the printing of the commemorative book, or simply supporting us on a
smaller scale.
Sponsorship will help ensure that funds raised from the sale of books and event tickets go to the school legacy fund rather than simply being absorbed by the costs of running the event and printing the book. We've shared details below for our aspirations for what the legacy funds raised will be used for.
This event will give us the opportunity to celebrate and promote the many local businesses who support us via our communication channels with our alumni and school community. If you are interested in supporting or sponsoring the event in some way you can also reach out to the centenary team via email: centenary@kaipara.school.nz or call 09 420 8640.
Kaipara College Sponsorship Guidelines apply to all kind offers of sponsorship & support.
Our donation values stated are inclusive of GST.
Our aspirations for how the Centenary Legacy Funds could be used include:
A digital school sign at the front of our school
A modern digital sign would allow us to share with our community our school and student celebrations, upcoming event information and important school notices.
Additional covered seating area around our school
We have a number of covered areas around our campus that we have the potential to add seating in for students to enjoy during breaks in both sunny and rainy weather.
Upgrading our Sporting turfs to all weather surfaces
Our courts are currently asphalted and to be able to make improvements to the surface would allow these to be utilised more frequently in all types of weather.
Upgrading our hall staging and accessibility to the stage
We'd love to have an upgraded staging and accessible set up to ensure all students, staff and visitors can access our stage at any time. From the Arts Dept to school assemblies and celebrations this is part of school and is used and enjoyed by all of our students and staff.
The funds raised by the Centenary and Ag Day events will be handed over to the School Leadership and the Board. Final plans for the Centenary Legacy Funds will be made following the conclusion of our celebrations this year.
Commemorative Centenary Book
A Centenary book is being crafted as part of this special celebration. This will capture moments in history over the last century along with precious photos and recollections from alumni. Included in the final print design will be official photos taken at our official centenary event celebrations.
Sponsorship of this publication will allow printing cost associated to be covered/reduced so sales of the book to go to the School Legacy Fund. The design time & work has been kindly donated by Mr John Grant.

Dinner Event LIVE Entertainment is bought to you by...
We want to make the Dinner Event a memorable evening for all guests. To do this we'd love to book artists and (or) a band to play and we'd like to be in a position to pay these artists or give koha to the performers that help make this a great night. We'd love to share an amazing headline act in our ticketing information for this event to add to the excitement of the night but will need a sponsor to ensure we can officially book acts.
Reach out if you'd like to be the naming sponsor for this part of the Centenary event. We'll advertise you as the official sponsor in the lead up to the event and on the night.
(This awesome opportunity is still available)
$1000 - 2000 needed. Co-sponsors welcomed.
We welcome suggestions for artists and bands for our Dinner Event. Email your contacts and ideas to the team.
