Thank you for your patience in regard to your child's status at our summer school program. Registration statuses and course assignments have been sent, so please check your emails for confirmations.
Important information regarding schedules, Chromebook care, and attendance are provided within the document.

Uniforms
Students will not be required to wear their KMS uniform during the summer; however, all school dress code requirements apply. See our school dress code on page 4 of the student planner, and on our Summer School Policies page.
Registration Dates and Times
Registration Dates and Times
Registration will be separated by grade levels. Please register for the grade your child will be entering in the 2025-2026 school year. For example, if your child just finished 7th grade, they should register for 8th grade summer courses.
Please be sure you are registering for the correct grade level. If your child registers for courses in the wrong grade level, your registration will not be accepted. You will then need to re-register your child for the correct grade level, subject to available space.
Grade Level Dates and Times:
Incoming 8th grade: Tuesday, April 29 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Incoming 7th grade: Wednesday, April 30 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Incoming 6th grade: Thursday, May 1 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Late Registration, ALL grades: Friday, May 2 at 4:00 pm - Monday, 5 at 8:00 pm
SUMMER SCHOOL DATES
June 5 (Thursday) - July 11 (Friday)
Holiday:
June 11 (Wednesday) - King Kamehameha Day
July 4 (Friday) - Independence Day
DAILY BELL SCHEDULE
8:00 AM - 9:50 AM Period 1
9:50 AM - 10:05 AM Recess
10:10 AM - 12:00 PM Period 2
12:00 PM Dismissal (All students must depart campus by 12:15 PM)
TUITION
KMS Summer School 2025 will be tuition free*. The Department of Education will utilize federal funding to subsidize costs this year.
Registration is expected to fill up very quickly.
Class placement is on a first come, first served basis.
If enrollment is full, your child may be placed on a waitlist.
