Honubots

Aloha! We are the Honubots, a 4th-6th grade FIRST LEGO League team from Kailua Elementary School located on the Windward side of Oahu, Hawaii. This year, at our district competition, we were awarded the champion award and received the invitation to compete in our First Lego League (FLL) State Championship Tournament in December. At that tournament, we received first place out of 42 teams and received the invitation to compete in the FLL World Festival in Houston in April.

We are the only team that will be representing the state of Hawai'i!!

FIRST LEGO League challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During the City Shapers season, our team chose and solved a real-world problem in “the Project”. We also build, tested, and programed an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in “the Robot Game”. Throughout our experience, we operate under the FIRST signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.
