Bilingual Spanish-English speech and language therapy, evaluations, and parent coaching. Serving families through teletherapy, private schools, and daycares.
Raising a bilingual child in an English-speaking school can feel confusing. You may wonder if two languages are causing a delay, how to talk to the teacher, or what an IEP really means. At K1 Therapy Collective, I help your child communicate with confidence, and I help you understand the system so you can advocate for your child. I believe parents are the most important members of a child's therapy team.
Meet Laura C. Santiago Olivo, MS, CCC-SLP
Founder & Clinical Director, K1 Therapy Collective
Hi, I’m Laura! I am a bilingual (Spanish-English) pediatric speech-language pathologist with 17 years of experience. I started as a speech-language pathology assistant, then earned my master’s degree and my CCC-SLP. Today I also mentor other therapists as a clinical supervisor.
As a mother of three, I know what it’s like to make language choices for your family. I created K1 Therapy Collective so Spanish-speaking parents have a therapist who speaks their language, respects their culture, and helps them navigate therapy, school, and IEP meetings with confidence.
I believe your home language is a strength and that parents are the most important part of a child’s therapy team.
